Product Features Mentioned In Customer Reviews4It's not what you think Posted by: RGoltsch from: on I have had this television for about a month now. I wanted to give myself some time to see if I liked it before I reviewed it. Well, it's been hung on my wall for over a month and I have to say that it is pretty good. The picture is more than passable for a discount price TV. If you view off-center, it is a bit washed out, but front on viewing, it is fine. The 32" size is perfect for my bedroom. The sound is not Bose quality, but it works just fine for me. No tinniness or reverb. I purchased this television based on the reputation of Toshiba and its long history of good quality products and good customer support. What I didn't know was that Toshiba no longer manufactures televisions for the US market. They sold their name to another maker, Compal from Taiwan. I would question this decision from a clarity point of view. They sold their name to purposely confuse people and make them think they were getting something from a well known manufacturer. This TV seems OK right now, I just feel a bit misled. But overall, if you are looking for a reasonably priced television for basic use, it does the job just fine, and at a good price point.

Picture quality is great and the sound is very good for 32" TV. Speakers are located at the bottom of the TV which is great for a TV that needs to be hung. Now the reason I gave it 3 stars. When mounting the TV the included screws to mount the bracket to the back of the TV came too short. They provided 24mm screws and did not even come close to screwing in the bracket. Had to go to the hardware store and get a 70mm screws to mount the TV to the bracket. Other than that hassle nice TV just be aware when mounting on a wall bracket.

This Toshiba surpassed that Samsung in the loudness of the speakers and had two hdmi connections and key for me 1 RCA connection. I wish that like models of old this Toshiba had actual buttons for power and volume. I believe that there is a small power button - inconveniently placed - on the back of the TV, otherwise the remote is a necessity.

Two HDMI ports available, which is a good number for a smaller TV. Sound is clear and clean, picture is clear and colors are good. Definitely a good deal for the price. If you need a basic TV on a budget, you should not hesitate on this one.

Sometimes, I end up giving up after trying for 10 or so minutes for the tv to connect to Netflix, etc. I would NOT recommend this tv. If you can't easily get a tv to work every time you use it, then it's not worth the low price

The design is elegant while not being too bulky. It is only a 720p so don't expect a perfect picture but it really gets the job done. It is a solid 32inch that really is worth the low price tag.
